1. Generic User Interfaces:
Key Idea is to make the repository of UI features and use them in any way.
– 1 Model and different Views –Business rules as XML

2. Production Rules as XML

Due to the high number of rules in big applications, it increases the need to manage the rules so that business people see the particular rule (current version as well as all previous versions). Mostly commercial business rules’ applications support the rules repository functionality to manage the rules but the open source solutions of business rules are still lacking in this area when it comes to managing the rules.
